Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Success is not easy money. Success is not temporal happiness. Success is not having power or fame.
Biblically speaking, success is not luck. Luck is defined as success or failure brought by chance rather than through one’s own actions. Biblical success is brought forth through the action of obeying. So walking in success and living a fulfilled life is not brought by chance or luck but applying certain biblical truths, laws and commandments that eventually open doors of success in our lives.
Just like in science and mathematics, there are certain laws that are irrefutable. They have been tested through hypothesis and have proven correct over and over and over again. Newtons law of gravity shows us that what goes up, must come down because of the gravitational pull that is found on earth. In Mathematics 2+2=4…no matter how many ways you solve this problem the answer will always be 4.
The bible tells us to honor our elders, our parents, our pastors and our leaders. When we honor them or show respect and appreciation to any of them we in return receive from them their wisdom. You see there is a GEM, a WORD, and advice in them that is going to get you to the next level. You see Bill Gates was brilliant in computing but this alone was not enough to make him wealthy. It was Paul Allen, a friend who was 2 years older than him that gave Bill Gates that GEM…he is the originator of the word “Microsoft”.
Mat. 25:23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
If you can be faithful in the small, God will reward you with the big! The definition of faithfulness is being steadfast in affection or allegiance, loyal, showing true and constant support, keeping your promise and staying true to the facts.
Joseph was faithful he was promoted to a prince of Egypt.
Abraham was faithful, he was promoted to being a father.
Joshua was faithful, he was promoted as leader of the Israelites.
Jesus was faithful, he was given a name above all names.
Faithfulness = Promotion all day long.
Be faithful in your marriage and you will be promoted with trust.
Be faithful to your kids and you will win their affection.
Be faithful to your job and you will quickly climb the social ladder.
Be faithful to your church and your gifts and talents will quickly be put to used.
1 Samuel 16:23- And whenever the tormenting spirit from God troubled Saul, David would play the harp. Then Saul would feel better, and the tormenting spirit would go away.
Worship transforms the atmosphere! You can be in deep sadness and sorrow close to depression but if you can sing a song, if you can lift your hands and worship…everything around you will begin to change.
